The character, "Father Time" is the inventor of the world's first clock but is punished for trying to measure God's greatest gift. He is banished to a cave for centuries and forced to listen to the voices of all people on earth who come after him seeking more days, more years. Eventually, he is given an opportunity to come back to earth to teach two people the real meaning of time: one a teenage girl who is about to give up on life, the other a wealthy old businessman who wants to live forever. To save himself, he must save them both. And stop the world to do so.

People have a fear that other creatures on earth do not have, which is the fear of running out of time. This book is so inspiring to make us to reconsider our own notions of time, how we spend it and how precious it truly is through a journey of searching the meaning of life and death, and time.

Actually everything has its time and every day is precious. As Mitch Albom said, “How would you live if you had all the time in the world?”
