Ottoline and the Yellow Cat is a children's book by Chris Riddell. It won many awards, including  the Nestlé Children's Book Prize Gold Award and the Red House Children's Book Award for Younger Readers.The story is about the daily life of a girl called Ottoline and Mr Munroe. Ottoline lives in a stylish apartment in Big City with her friend, a small hairy creature called Mr. Munroe. Ottoline liked writing in her notebook and splashing in puddles. She was also interested in solving mysteries and keeping collections. She was full of curiosity and was a little detective. Ottoline and Mr Munroe always are the first to the scene of the crime when jewel thefts hit Big City. They expose an ingenious scam masterminded by furry feline crook, the Yellow Cat.I like reading the story because it is very interesting and find out the solutions with Ottoline in different mysteries.
